This is not a movie for those with a weak stomach. This is not your easy-does-it horror flick because Jigsaw is back. And he still has a point to prove to his victims: if you do not cherish life, you do not deserve it. Detective John Matthews (Donnie Wahlberg) is Jigsaw’s newest target. Over a video feed, Det. Matthews watches his son and eight others, oblivious of their connection, trapped in a house with only one way out. And if they play the game by the rules, all will survive.

For Fans of: The Killers, Interpol
From the very beginning, Franz Ferdinand agreed one of their key goals was to make music that girls could dance to. And with their sophomore release they are continuing to do just that. Released on October 4 in North America, You Could Have It So Much Better is another absolutely smashing album that debuted at #8 in the States and #1 in the UK.

Pronounced ‘vee-soo’, Thrice’s latest album displays the extent of a journey. Fans familiar with Thrice’s last albums like The Artist In The Ambulance and The Illusion of Safety shouldn’t fear their progression. These southern California boys transition into the respect we alternative rock fans give to bands like Thursday, Taking Back Sunday and Brand New.

One striking difference on Vheissu from past albums was the presence of biblical references and faith-filled lyrical content. One track (“Of Dust and Nations”) speaks so clearly of Matthew 6:19 (“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal”) with lead singer Dustin Kensrue crying “so put your faith in more than steel / don’t store your treasures up, with moth and rust / where thieves break in and steal”.
