Congrats from Alberta

I am a University of Alberta Grad Student, and obviously a Golden Bears fan. I just wanted to log-on to offer the Spartans a hearty congratulations.

You all played very well and worked together brilliantly. I also agree with awarding you the Fair Play Award. TWU has a lot to be proud of. For a university with such a small population to draw on, it is amazing that you compete so well at the CIS level. Your victory put the icing on the cake.

I know that our newspaper, The Gateway, likes to poke fun of TWU…but be assured that it is all in good fun. We all have enormous respect for your institution, your “total champion approach” to sports, and to your commitment to your ideals.

To all the Spartans who are graduating, good luck in the future. I know a lot of people will miss watching you play.
