Winter

The gallivanting wind is dancing free,
Unique and matchless, snowflakes swirl and spin.
The breeze so algid, frigid freezes me!
Revive my pace, to warm the blood within.
Vivaciously they prance across the skies,
A solitary flake conducts its note.
The melody rejuvenates the eyes,
They hum together gracefully and float.
The bush and tree are rendered to their knees,
An alabaster white descends on earth;
The night is glossed, creating glistened seas.
The snow hugs land and winter gently births.
Arouse each sense to blissful harmony,
Composed, defined is winter’s symphony.
