My vision is for TWU is Hebrews 10:24-25. That is to be a strong Christian Community where we encourage one another in love and good deeds.

What will you do to achieve that vision?
I believe that events are the most direct way that TWUSA can give back to the students; therefore, I plan on leading a council that will provide more events for the students. If elected, I plan on working closely with the CA’s to make sure that commuters are more involved in the campus community because I believe commuters are an integral part of the Trinity community.”

Why should students vote for you?
I believe students should vote for me because I have a huge passion for this campus, the community, and the students. I have a vision and the necessary leadership capabilities to lead a council that will fulfill this vision. These past two years have been the best years of my life, and I just want that same experience for every other student here at TWU.

What will you do to achieve that vision?
I believe that I can achieve these objectives because of the time I have already invested in this school. As a result of my experience on TWUSA executive council as Director of Events and other past work experience, I have developed the ability to implement my ideas.

You should vote for me because I have the experience, the passion, and the ability to make TWUSA the student association it could be.

My vision for the role of the Executive Vice President is to maintain open communication between the student body and TWUSA. I want to make the information that TWUSA possesses more accessible to the students that voted and to be a voice for the students on issues with TWU.

I will allow for time to have conversations about TWUSA’s mission and the path that it is on with the students, either individually or in groups. I will keep an open door policy when available so that anyone can come in if/when they have issues. I will be a more approachable person so as to not have the intimidating nature in which TWUSA has become accustomed with.

Why should students vote for you?
Since serving on the Student Business Association (SBA) this year, I have become adapt with dealing with issues as they come up and being able to overcome obstacles that arise. I will also try to get to know people and promote more community in residences. I plan to achieve this vision by expanding TWUSA services, ensuring that the council operates smoothly and efficiently, and re-allocating resources to the places where we can have the most engagement and contact with students

Why should students vote for you?
No matter who fills the position of EVP, they will play a large role in determining TWUSA policy for the year. I believe that my experience on council this past year has given me a working knowledge of the governing documents as well as insight into the logistical and administrative challenges that the job presents. I think I have the ability to meet these challenges and ensure that the organization maintains a reputation of professionalism and efficiency.

Kyle Faus

What is your vision for this position?
My vision for this position is to be able to create a budget that best defines what the students want and what they need. My vision is to make a budget that is the most effective and helpful to the students. I also want to create friendly connections between groups and the VP of finance to help them in any way possible.

What will you do to achieve that vision?
To achieve that, there would have to be a sit down with the new group and the budget to see which areas need changing and which areas can be improved upon. I will try my best to make sure that every dollar that goes through TWUSA is being spent in the best way possible for each group and that the groups will be able to complete things that they want to do.

Why should students vote for you?

What is your vision for this position?
I have gained a good understanding of the budget over the past couple months and I plan on making some minor changes on how the finances are distributed. One of my visions for the TWUSA budget is to see an increase in the amount allocated to the proposals fund. This is a fund available for clubs and students who need financial assistance for some of their events and ideas.

What will you do to achieve that vision?
The reason for the current cut to many of the individual budgets is due to the total amount dropping from $270k last year to just $214k this year. I am excited to create a budget that will accommodate the needs of the students to the maximum potential and allow TWUSA to strengthen the student community.
