Tell us a little about yourself?

I have come to Trinity Western University straight out of high school. I had strongly been considering University of British Colombia Okanagan until May, when God moved in my heart to come to TWU. I value TWU’s sense of community, and I look forward to growing with people who love God.

What do you feel freshmen want/need from their representative this year?

I feel freshman want someone who will work hard to get everyone involved by searching out an issue or cause that can unite all freshman together.

How do you hope to serve these needs this year?

I want to be willing to listen to everyone, especially those who are quieter and may not be intentional about sharing their voice and opinions.

Tell us a little about yourself?

I am currently a 2nd year Corporate Communications Major. I am a missionary kid from the Philippines and I hold a dual citizenship from Canada and the Philippines. I currently am not sure about where I will be led in the future, but I have a lot of faith in God’s providence. I am content with my current opportunities to grow and serve.

What do you feel SAMC students want/need from their representative this year?

Arts students often feel pressure to justify their choice of major and/or their passion for the arts to those around them. I feel they want someone to stand up for them, listen to them, and support them in their endeavours.

How do you hope to serve these needs this year?

Practically, I hope to host events where SAMC students can all come together as a school, while still maintaining our identity within our specific majors. I want to support clubs forming within each department, and their growth in independence and recognition.

Tell us a little about yourself?

I am originally from Ecuador, and I am in my 3rd year as a Psychology and Business Major. I love the community of TWU and I’ve had really great experiences being a part of this community.

What do you feel students want/need from their representative this year?

I want to make sure everyone has a great time and gets to really know each other. I want commuters and residents to be able to connect with one another. As third years, many of us are living off campus and commuting, so I want to remind them that we are still one big group together.

How do you hope to serve those needs?

I want to encourage activities such a Winter Formal for juniors, as well as start up many activities during the daytime that help develop bigger friendships among juniors. As third years, we’re about to graduate and after we leave school, we’re going to need each other and hopefully be able to count on each other.
