Harvestfest!

On Oct. 31st, Trinity Western University Student Association and student volunteers hosted Harvestfest – advertised as a fun and safe Halloween alternative for local kids and their parents.

Held in the David E. Ennerson gym, this event’s goal was to give the community a Halloween experience worth remembering. Addtionally, the event connects the university with the Langley community.

TWU students managed booths and provided entertainment for children. A variety of games and activities were offered including: a bouncy castle, storytelling, crafts, face painting, as well as lots of candy.

“We want to provide the community with a safe, relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. We also feel this is a great starting point for introducing Trinity Western University to families and their children,” said Peter Bengtsson, executive director of TWUSA events.
