Skate with the Bombers

“Without the fans, we’re just rec hockey.”

Last Friday over 200 students joined the Trinity Western University Bombers in a casual skate at Sportsplex Arena in Walnut Grove.

“This night combined two of my favourite things,” says fourth-year student Zach Bulick, “ice skating and music that makes me move.”

Before the event even started the skate rentals line filled the lobby and spilled out the door. Eager students soon laced up their skates and stepped onto the ice for a night of raffles, hot chocolate, an impromptu dance-off and a photobooth with the Bombers.
