“Does watching Lost count?” Walters asks. “What have I been up to?”
1. She already has her ticket for the July International Comic Con in San Diego. Big Nerd.
2. She worked at Blockbuster Video for a while and decided that wasn’t good enough so she moved to England for five months and worked at Blockbuster there. Bigger Nerd.
3. She likes to go to the pool and do aqua-fit with old people.
4. She grew up watching classic comedies with Abbot and Costello, Danny Kaye and Bob Hope.
5. Teresa thinks Christian Bale is hot.
Once she realized she couldn’t get a job as a communications major, she started to write. She has been working on screenplays for a few years now.
“In the writing community, it’s a step up from brooding poetry and a flight of stairs down from writing a novel,” she notes. “Nevertheless, I am moving to Los Angeles in April and like 75 per cent of the residents of Tinseltown, I’ll have a script in my back pocket when I get there.”
What does she have that they don’t? “A sizable student loan, IMDB as my homepage, and an extensive knowledge of Steve Martin movies – I’m pretty sure I have a leg up. Look out Hollywood.”
