Six join the BOG

Trinity Western University recently welcomed six new members to the Board of Governors.
Melvin Nelson hails from Fargo, North Dakota, where he is President and CEO of a consulting firm, Executive Management Systems, Inc. His father, Stanley Nelson, was TWU’s first Director of Development and Public Relations, and is the namesake of TWU’s Stanley Nelson Center.
Jeremy Funk, a 1985 TWU graduate is a project and property manager for PFP Ventures Inc., and a professor at Providence College.
Gerald Baron is founder and President of Baron & Company, as well as the founder of AudienceCentral. His involvement in the communications field earned him an honorary humanities doctorate in 2003 from TWU.
Sara Pasiciel taught at Providence College for 25 years before her recent retirement. She is an award-winning playwright and the mother of a TWU graduate.
Freda Bostrom, former TWU President’s secretary, has worked for the Salmon Arm Economic Development Corporation. She currently serves on the Evangelical Free Women’s Ministries National Leadership Team board.
Douglas Snetsinger joins the Board after spending three years on TWU’s Leadership Advisory Council. He earned a PhD from Queen’s University and has taught at the University of Toronto. In addition to his role on the Board, he is President and CEO of DRS Insight Group and head of customer relations at Grey Canada.
