MH: Did you play any other sports when you were a kid?
Jared: I was a triple jumper in track and field. I also played basketball in junior high, but got cut in grade nine and never played again. In addition, I played football in high school, but I ended up tearing my ACL the day before the first game of the season in grade 12.
MH: Which is more of a sport, billiards or NASCAR?
Jared: Let me answer that question with another: How many times do you turn left in a day? All NASCAR drivers do is turn left; thus, they aren’t ambiturners. Pool sharks are, therefore billiards wins.
MH: What was the best prank any teammate has pulled on you?
Jared: A guy switched football cleats with me one day, but his feet were quite a bit smaller, and since they were the same type of shoe, I thought nothing of it. I put them on and ran onto the field – I died a bit that day.
MH: If you could pick any actor to play you in a movie, who would it be?
Jared: Clive Owen. He’s so manly.
MH: Who is your least favorite professional athlete?
Jared: Just like the song says: “Me like Sergei Fedorov, me like him more if head-were-off!”
MH: If you could posses any superpower, what would it be?
Jared: The ability to immediately possess anything that I think of or look at. If I wanted Hot Wheels cars, I’d get my Hot Wheels cars. If I wanted my homework done… you get the idea. Instant happiness!
