Two leave Student Council

Student Council lost two members over the summer. Vice President of Student Relations Jeff Dunkin and Events Assistant Linda Bland informed council in August that they would be leaving TWU.
“It was unfortunate to have one of our Executive members leave - especially a member with two years of experience on TWUSA,” said President James Moes. “Linda Bland was organized, hardworking and her dynamic with the Events team will be missed.”
Student Council has hired freshman Leigh Boyle to fill the position of Events Assistant.
Melanie Spaulding, who ran for president last year, will run unopposed in the by-election for Vice President of Student Relations which will be held along with the freshman elections on September 21 and 22. There is no candidate running for School of Human Kinetics Representative.
